How I study for biochem (or any other bio-related) midterms!
  • Hi guys! Today I want to share with you my techniques in studying for my midterms. I’ve been doing this strategy with most of my classes for almost 5 years now, and it works! (I mean I wouldn’t be doing it if it doesn’t work, and I wouldn’t share it with you also LOL!) So, if you’re looking for a new study technique, here’s something to consider :) And as always, just add other study techniques you do that works for you! I’d like to try those out as well!

  • How to organize your journal articles
  • Do you save alot of journal articles in your computer? If so, how do you organize them? Or perhaps the question is, do you organize them? I find it really easy to just leave them all in the downloads folder with their vague filenames such as 228.full.pdf. I mean what the heck does that even mean? Because of this, it would take me forever to find an article. Fortunately, I recently discovered this FREE program that organizes ALL your journal articles for you! All you need to do is drag and drop. I was really excited about this and I just wanted to share it to you guys!

  • How to read journal articles critically
  • So one of the biggest problems I’ve had when I first started doing research was reading journal articles. I remember the first time reading my very first journal article. It was about HDL-cholesterol and different methods in isolating them. It literally took me DAYS to understand what was going on in that article. Since I’ve now had my fair share of journal articles to read, I learned how to critically read them and which ideas to look out for. So I wanted to share my own personal approach on how I tackle these crazy (yet very very useful) journal articles!
