These past couple days have been tough. My parents and I flew to Philly last Thursday night to help me settle in my new apartment. Ikea screwed up my delivery order so we spent the first night sleeping on the floor with no furniture. After screwing up our order, Ikea delivers our furniture at 8:30 pm the next day. We stayed up all night installing all the furniture we bought. Aside from that, we found out that there is a cockroach problem in my apartment, esp. in the bathroom. I’ve been trying to stay positive throughout all of this, and I’m just grateful that my parents were able to come here with me and help me here. They left yesterday, and I miss them terribly, but I know that I need this time to learn how to be on my own.

Anyway, today was a very laid back day compared to this past few days. I woke up at 11 am (my body is still at LA time! O.O), made breakfast, and went to the Penn bookstore to pick up my ID. I also went to the BMB office to pick up my new computer (yaaay). I had the time to explore the campus, and it’s reaally really nice. It’s very different from where I came from. Anyways, I’m pretty excited and nervous to start in two weeks. I know it will go by fast, but I hope that everything will be ok.
