How do you stop yourself from being sad? for me I do a few things. I like to be alone for a while, depending on the situation. then once I’m ready, I talk to my boyfriend or someone close to me about it. and from there sometimes i like to eat my favorite comfort food. sometimes I go shopping. sometimes I take naps. pretty much anything that gets my mind off what made me sad. and once I’ve recovered from the situation then I go back and think about it and try to learn something depending on the experience. personally this is the process I go through, hope that helps!
